Day Two: Complete!

Two down, ??? to go!
We've got another fantastic school day under our belt! We started the day of with music class singing about all the different children of the world. The kids learned how to say "hello" in 8 other languages! Sydney even enjoyed the music dancing and bee-bopping around. Of course, that made music class that much more fun for us!!
Next, the kids filled out their "Passport" Applications. We will be traveling all around the world this year and as you know, you must have a passport before crossing any borders. I think it will be fun to watch our "passports" fill in as we travel through the many countries.
We also learned about the beginning of map making; who started making them and what kinds of materials they were made from or on. Of course, in the very beginning they were very inaccurate, but still helpful to those who needed them.
Last but not least, we learned about ecosystems today. It seemed a little harder for the girls to grasp this concept just yet, but we will just keep plugging away at it.
All in all, I'd say we had another great day! And I'm looking forward to tomorrow...our first FULL day!!
